I hope this finds you well as we start a new school year.

On October 7-8, there will be a Diocese-wide Adorathon in Blessed Sacrament Parish in Westfield MA. I signed our Parish up for Friday October 7 at 8pm. You can sign up to come and meet at Holy Family Parish at 7:15pm and we will ride over. We will join the Polish Community who will be in charge of this particular Holy Hour. It will be beautiful to participate in because they will have many Polish Hymns and prayers that we can experience as we sit before our Blessed Lord. The greater goal for our participation will be to foster devotion toward the Eucharist for ourselves and for the Diocese. If you can attend, please come! See below for more information.

As Catholics, our spirituality is centered around the Eucharist and the Eucharist is the Source and summit of our Faith. Adoration is a very centered time of prayer where we believe that Christ truly is present on the altar. When we sit before Him, we do not have to have a plan, we can simply sit there and tell our Lord about our day. When we do, a sense of peace and clarity tends to emerge and we walk away with greater focus for all of our tasks at hand. During this Year of the Eucharist, come and say a prayer. Come especially on Wednesday, from 12pm-6pm, the Sacrament is exposed. He waits for you, and asks can you not spend one hour? In time, the results of doing this will be greater than anything you can imagine! God Bless you and your families.

We will gather at Holy Family Parish and leave at 7:15pm and head over to Blessed Sacrament Parish. Our Holy Hour is from 8pm- 9pm. We will arrive back to Holy Family Parish by 9:30pm. Please sign up by Wednesday, October 5pm. Thank you.
