On October 7-8, there will be a diocesan wide adoration in Blessed Sacrament Parish in Westfield MA. This is in conjunction with the Year of the Eucharist that was promulgated in our Diocese during the Solemnity of Christ the King last year in St. Michael’s Cathedral. The purpose of the Year of the Eucharist is to promote and increase our devotion to the Eucharist. There are many great things that can come from the Year of the Eucharist. The potential for a Eucharistic revival among our youth, a purification of our priests, and the outward sign of Christ going into the streets. All of which gives rise to an increase of faith within ourselves and thus conforming our lives to the Eucharist most closely.

On October 7-8, we will be part of the greater prayer effort in the Diocese in Blessed Sacrament Parish. The Adorathon starts at 7pm with a Vesper service and there will be an all-night prayer vigil which ends with a 4pm Vigil Mass and a Eucharist procession outside, weather permitting. Our time slot will be at 8pm on Friday, October 7. You can sign up in the back of the Church, with your name, number and email. We will leave here at 7:15pm, and arrive back at 9:30pm, if you wish to attend. Thank you for your consideration in attending.

We will gather at Holy Family Parish and leave at 7:15pm and head over to Blessed Sacrament Parish. Our Holy Hour is from 8pm- 9pm. We will arrive back to Holy Family Parish by 9:30pm. Please sign up by Wednesday, October 5pm. Thank you.
